Peace Vigil/Black Lives Matter

The Peace Vigil is back from 5:30-6:00 pm on Thursdays at Richmond Congregational Church, 20 Church Street in Richmond. Our church would like to extend a hearty welcome to the community to share signs and waves of positivity, peace, diversity, justice and inclusion such as “Black Lives Matter” and “Love Your Neighbor.” Friday 6/19/20 is Juneteenth, is a day of celebration for the end of slavery in the US. Help us mark this important occasion and join us this week. Please bring a sign, wear a mask, and stand physically distanced on our front lawn as we share the message of the type of community and world we all hope to live in. For more about Juneteenth, I commend to you this wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juneteenth

I hope to see you tomorrow! Peace, Rev. Katelyn Macrae
